1) Les culottées, des femmes qui ne
font que ce qu’elle veulent, (Women
who do as they please) is a French blog BD written by Pénélope Bagieu in
2016. It is a book that includes fifteen biographical stories of women. Each
comic tells the life of a woman from the past or present and all over the world
with an unusual or inspiring story.
This book is really fun and easy to read, we chose it because it tells
incredible stories of women.
You can read it !!!! The book was released In English with the title Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who Rocked the
World.
There are two volumes so thirty stories in total, but we’ve read only the first
volume.(The English version has only 29 stories instead of the original 30,
"Phoolan Devi, the Indian Queen of Bandits" was removed because
it included the rape of a ten-year-old girl by her husband).
2) We suggest
you a French’ reporting about the problem for a father to change his child
diaper in public toilets, because most of the time the lying tables are in women’s
toilets. The reporting says, moms often think this is an excuse to, or it’s a
real problem. Men who want to change their child have to use of unadapted
strategy. That’s why some fathers wanted to mediatize their problem on social
media, with the #squatforchange. The reporting explains that in London, there
are in some mall, mixed spaces for changing babies, but for the director of the
British toilet associations, it’s not enough, because there are no laws to
solve the problem. In France, the question is also raised.
